Texas County Voter Registration Deadline Approaches

Friday, 12th October, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order
to be eligible to vote in the 06th November General Election which contains the
Presidential Canidates, State Questions and other offices.  A list of what is on
the ballot can be found “pinned” at the top of our FACEBOOK page > Texas County
Election Board
Persons who are United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and will be at
least 18 years old by 06 Nov. 2012 may apply to become registered voters at our
office at 301 N. Main St. (Courthouse Annex) in Guymon.  Applications can be
found at most post offices, tag agencies, and public libraries in the county
along with OPSU Student Union by the Aggie Grill and are also available on the
Internet at www.elections.ok.gov <http://www.elections.ok.gov/>   If you are
mailing the application, they MUST contain a visible postmark of no later than
midnight Friday, 12th October, 2012, to be valid.  Our mailing address is:

Any person who has submitted a voter registration application and who has not
received a response within 30 days should contact the County Election Board
office in person or at the following numbers 580-338-7644 or 580-338-2618.
