The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a  Meade man was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a crash in a construction zone.  Thirty year old Austin Boggs of Meade was traveling east on Highway 54.  A Freightliner was stopped in the lane of traffic in the construction zone  about nine miles east of Liberal.  Boggs crashed his Hyundai Elantra into the trailer of the Freightliner at about 2:15 Wednesday afternoon.  Boggs was taken to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal with injuries.  The two people in the truck were not injured.
