The Heat is on the Move

After three years in Haysville, the Jayhawk League’s Heat is on the move. Tuesday during a press conference, the Heat announced they are moving to nearby Wellington. The Heat and the Liberal Bee Jays both tied for 9th at the NBC World Series.

The Heat enjoyed a solid run in Haysville. They won the Jayhawk League in 2010 and 2011 after moving to Kansas from Havasu, Arizona. They finished 4th in the NBC World Series in 2011 and 7th in 2010.
The Heat will play in Hibbs-Hooten Stadium beginning with the 2013 season. the Heat will continue playing in the Jayhawk League.
The Bee Jays finished 3-6 at Haysville in three seasons.
