US-54 and US 56 Cimarron River Bridge Projects to Start
08/13/2012

The Kansas Department of Transportation expects a bridge repair project over the Cimarron River on US-54 in Seward County, about 10 miles east of Liberal, to begin by Tuesday, August 14. Traffic will be restricted to one lane across the bridge, controlled by a traffic signal. The Kansas DOT expects this bridge repair project to be finished by mid-November, barring any weather delays.

The Kansas Department of Transportation expects a bridge repair project over the Cimarron River on US-56 in Haskell County to begin the week of August 13. The bridge is located about ½-mile northeast of the Seward/Haskell county line.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane across the bridge, controlled by a traffic signal. The Kansas DOT expects this bridge repair project to be finished by November, barring any weather delays.
