Plains Toddler Ran Over, Dies

A Plains, Kansas boy was killed Friday when troopers said he ran into the street and was struck by a truck. The accident happened in the 400 block of Erie Street, in Plains, at around 7:00 p.m. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Konnor Wilkerson, 2, ran into the middle of Erie Street where he was struck by a northbound pickup truck. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said the boy's father was on the scene.
