Cimarron County Sheriffs Office Under Investigation
08/05/2012

Interim Cimarron County Sheriff Kevin McIntire told The Boise City News on Wednesday, that CLEET, (Council of Law Enforcement and Training) is in the process of an investigation of the Sheriff’s Office. McIntire said that CLEET Investigator Walt Birdsong, an employee of CLEET was investigating actions by previous employees regarding CLEET Documents, i.e. personnel documents. Since it concerns personnel, McIntire cannot reveal names. “We are cooperating,” McIntire said. CLEET has, since 1963, been the agency that trains peace officers in the state of Oklahoma.
