Round It Up For Liberal Latchkey
10/16/2009

The JC Penney Afterschool Fund Holiday Round-Up, through its partnership with United Ways, is running a special promotion to help local after-school programs.

When you shop at the Liberal JC Penney between Oct. 16 through Oct. 25 and round your purchase up to the next whole dollar, the JC Penney Afterschool Fund will donate the difference to the Liberal Latchkey Program/ /to provide children in this community with access to life-enriching afterschool programs.

Just tell the JC Penney Associate at the cash register that you want to round up your purchase to the next dollar. “It’s amazing how just a few cents from each person can add up,” said Kay Burtzloff, Seward County United Way director. “I know this promotion has helped Liberal Latchkey in the past and with increasing costs, they could use our local support..”
