Guymon Police Looking For Stolen Property
10/14/2009

Guymon Police Officers responded to a larceny at Guymon Auto Sales on Sunday, October 11.

According to a report in the Guymon Daily Herald, an employee advised officers that the top of a Jeep had been stolen, a fairly new black in color rag top for a two-door Jeep Wrangler valued at $1800.

The rag top cover was on a 1999 blue colored Jeep. Employees informed officers that the rag-top was last seen in tact the Saturday before at around 5:30 p.m. The rag-top was discovered missing the following morning at about 9:30 a.m.

The employee gave the police information about who all had test driven the Jeep the previous day. A medallion was found in the back seat of the vehicle that has been introduced into evidence.

If anyone has any information about this larceny, please contact the Guymon Police Department at 580-338-6525.
