A Full 4th at Brent Gould Field
07/03/2012

After a two year wait, Liberal's 4th of July fireworks are on schedule for Wednesay night after the Liberal Bee Jay game.  The fireworks will be shot off east of Brent Gould Field on the campus of SCCC/ATS.  The fireworks begin after the Liberal Bee Jays host the Dodge City A's at 7 p.m.  The Community Bank and Pizza Hut are the buyout sponsors for the game and the fireworks so there is no admission for those events.  The game can be heard on Talkradio 1270.

There will also be a 4th of July picnic at Brent Gould Field.  First Southern Baptist Church provides a picnic which includes hot dogs,  games,  and jumpies for the kids at 2 p.m. at Brent Gould Field.

No members of the public are allowed to shoot fireworks.  The city's fireworks show is the only one allowed.
