Saints Advance to Face Cowley
03/04/2009

The Seward County Saints never let Kansas City (10-21) in the game. The Saints dominated from the get go in a game they led 39-21 at halftime and won 77-54. The Saints were sharp only turning the ball over nine times. Tony Smith scored 18 off of the bench. Marcus James added 16 points and eight rebounds. Thijin Moses dropped in 14 points. Jon Tassin scored 12 and Marquez Patterson added 11. The 23-8 Saints play the Cowley Tigers Saturday at 3 pm at Wichita State's Koch Arena. Seward beat Cowley last March for the Region 6 title.
