Redskins Plan Bash for First Home Game

Lady Redskins headed to state!

Liberal High is already promoting the first home football game against Guymon on September 11. It will be the first game played on new turf and in front of new bleachers. USD 480 organizers are trying to bring Redskin fans back to Redskin Field. Seaboard Foods will provide pork burgers and hot dogs for about 600 people. Pizza Hut will have a sampling of wings. There will be inflatable moonwalks for kids and it will be kids inc. night. The pre-game festiviites begin at 5:30. The football game kicks off that night at 7:00 PM.

The new turf hasn't been applied to Redskin Field yet. However, three of the five sections of bleachers on the home side have been installed. The middle section with chairback seating and the two sections north of that have been installed.
