A Penny Earned for Lady Saints

Clenita Jones

Toby Wynn has his assistant. The Lady Saint head coach brings in 26-year old Clenita "Penny" Jones one month after Kim Ortega Davis stepped down from the position. Jones has been South Alabama's Director of Basketball Operations the past two years. She was also an assistant at Concordia Lutheran High School in Omaha. In December of 2005, she graduated from West Florida University in Pensacola. She ranks second all time in assists at the program. Wynn will be a guest on the Sportsguys Tuesday morning to discuss the hire. Wynn is 112-26 entering his fifth year as Seward's head coach. Ortega-Davis was his assistant the first four years.
