Moscow Teen, Woman Injured In Accident

A Moscow man and woman were injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle accident eight miles west of Ingalls in Gray County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Zachary Pierson 19, Moscow, was westbound on U.S. Highway 50 in a 2007 Toyota Corolla at 11:58 a.m. Monday, when his car rear-ended a 2011 Dodge Truck driven by Larry D. Jonagan, 40, Ingalls.

Zachary Pierson and a passenger in his vehicle, Hope Pierson, 46, of Moscow were taken to St. Catherine Hospital, where they were treated and released.

Jonagan and passenger in his vehicle, Lawrence Jonagan, 77, Ingalls, were not injured.

All four people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
