8th Grade A Team – from Coach Shelby
Seymour Rogers came out playing their best defense of the season holding
Guymon to a season low 19 points in the 1st half. Eric Marin hit a 3 early
in the 3rd to cut Guymon’s lead to 12. Shortly afterwards, Guymon put the
press on and went on a huge run. They ended up winning the game by over
40.

8th B Team – From Coach Richards –
SRMS lost 45-29 last night against a good team, but we held our own
throughout the second half. Christian Loza hit the first half court 3
point shot to end the first quarter to be up 10-7. Loza also had the two
point shot in the 4th quarter when Guymon did not realize we were in
bounding on their hoop side. Daniel Rios fouled out playing tough defense
the entire game, Emmanule Corranado hit a 3 pointer to keep us in the game
and Tre Dinkins got 2 points. It was a full team effort and the guys had
fun last night
