Luallen Reaches Milestone in Saturday Sweep

Seward head volleyball coach Bert Luallen won his 400th career match as Seward beat Trinidad State and Laramie County Saturday in Lamar.

Seward won two matches Saturday after losses to Lamar and Otero Friday. Seward beat Trinidad State (25-20, 25-23, 25-22) before a win over Laramie County (25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-18).

Luallen is 209-137 in his ninth year at Seward. He coached at Colle of the Southwest from 1994-2004 before coming to Liberal.

Seward opens their home season against Cloud Wednesday night at 6:30 in the Green House.
