Liberal Girls Win South Titan Classic Opener

Liberal won their opener in the Wichita South Titan Classic 2-1 over Wichita Heights Monday afternoon. LHS is 2-1.
Carolina Limon scored witha beautiful shot at the top of the 18 unassisted. Alondra Alvarado had the second goal with a Limon assist inside the 18. LHS led shots on goal 9-4. Reyna Gonzalez had three saves. It’s the first time this group of seniors won the opener at the South Titan Classic.
Emporia beat Campus 3-1 so the Redskins will play the Spartans Wednesday at 4 at the Wichita South Titan Classic.
