Liberal Crowns their Queen Friday Night

In case you haven’t noticed the toilet paper on the trees, it’s homecoming week in Liberal. LHS will crown a homecoming queen during halftime of Friday night’s game against Garden City. The game begins at 7:00 PM. The three queen candidates are Sylvia Moreno, Emily Jackson, and Lorie Rine. The attendants are freshman Joanna Campos, sophomore Crystal Gallegos, and junior Crystal Tiscareno. Today’s activities begin with a pep assembly at Redskin Field at 1:05. The homecoming parade begins at 2:30 on Kansas Avenue. The them of homecoming this year is “Revenge of the Redskins.” The game will be followed by a dance at LHS. It is also homecoming at Hugoton, Beaver, Sublette, and Elkhart.
