Liberal Builds Big Lead in Borger Win

Brock Kappelmann - December 9, 2017 9:08 pm

The Liberal Redskins built a large lead in the Big House on Saturday evening at the Conestoga/Community Bank Classic.  Liberal head coach Ryan Petty says the Redskins played their best offense of basketball of the season in the first half .  They executed their half-court offense to perfection producing layups on the way to a 42-21 lead at halftime over the visiting Borger bulldogs.  But the Redskins struggled to put the Bulldogs away in the fourth quarter holding on to win 60-56.

Caneron Riley  provided the senior leadership the Redskins needed scoring 20 points. Tristan Brigham dropped in 12.

The Redskins even the record at two 2-2. Liberal plays at Perryton Friday night at about 8 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
