LHS Spikers Split in Garden City

The Liberal volleyball team split a pair of matches in Garden City Thursday. LHS lost to Garden City 12-25 and 18-25 but beat Great Bend 25-20, 23-25, 25-13. Megan Besecker led Liberal with 11 kills on the night and Stephanie Garcia had 10 digs. LHS is 2-1. The Redskins travel to a tournament in Ark City September 13.
