Garden City led 8-7 after one quarter but LHS bolted ahead 18-12 at halftime. The Lady Redskins led 22-13 and 25-17 after three. The Lady Redskins led 28-17 early in the third before the Lady Buffs cut Liberal’s lead to four at 30-26. Garden was 0-10 from three point rangeand 6-14 at the foul line. Liberal was just 8-23 from the free throw line. Jada Mickens scored 10 but fouled out.

Liberal is 6-2 and 2-0 in the WAC and Garden City is 4-5 and 0-2 in the WAC. Liberal hosts Dodge City Friday night at 6 in the Big House with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
