Lady Skins Grab First Win of the Season

Liberal’s Lady Redskins won for the first time Friday night in the Big House. Liberal defeated the Perryton Rangerettes 56-30 in their final game before Christmas. Jasmine Hernandez scored a career high 16 points and Megan Besecker added 10.

Liberal led 13-2 early and 30-8 at halftime. The Lady Skins forced 30 Perryton turnovers but Liberal had 25 turnovers. Liberal made six of 18 three pointers. LHS was 15-30 at the free throw line. Liberal is 1-4 and Perryton is 5-7. The same two teams meet January 6 in Perryton.
