Analyzes performance and instructs student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them
for athletic competition; observes players while they perform to determine need for individual or team
improvement; and coaches players individually or in groups, demonstrating techniques of sport coached. Assists head coach, supervises work study students and instructs. Position works closely with
the Athletic Director, Head Athletic Trainer, coaches, student athletes, and physicians regarding the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of all injuries related to participation in various athletic programs. A flexible work schedule and travel, including overnight stays, is required. Position is based on 207 days during a fiscal year.

A Bachelor's degree in sports medicine or related field and National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification required and State Athletic Training Licensure eligible. Preferred two years to five years of similar or related experience i.e., prior athletic training, coaching, and/or collegiate playing experience.
