Jai Chapman is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior guard Jai Chapman is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Chapman leads the LHS girls at 19 points and six rebounds per game. She scored 21 in a loss to Garden City last week. He season high was 27 against Perryton. She averaged 15 points and six rebounds per game as a junior and 10 points and four rebounds per game as a sophomore. Chapman was also first team all WAC in volleyball and is a former WAC volleyball player of the year. Chapman won the state championship in the 100 and 300 hurdles as a junior last spring. Chapman is a member of NHS, LHS Student Council, and Rotary Club.
