Hutch Women Slapped with NJCAA Probation

The Hutchinson Community College women are on probation. The Hutch News reports the Lady Dragons will vacate their victories from the 2014-15 season which included a Jayhawk West and Region 6 titlle. Hutch faces a postseason ban for the 2015-16 season and will have scholarships reduced from 15 to 11 this season and 15-13 for the 2016-17 season. The NJCAA, in conjunction with the KJCCC concluded that two players were given grant-in-aid during the 2014-15 season that exceeded permissable amounts. In a statement, HCC says they plan to appeal the findings and sanctions.
