Hunter Education To Be Offered In Liberal

Kansas law requires that all hunter born on or before July 1, 1957, must be certified by an approved course in hunter education before they can hunt in Kansas. There will be a Hunter Education Course in Liberal on Saturday October 24, at the Seward County Activity Center. The course on Saturday will run from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Sunday’s session will run from 1:00pm – 6:00pm. You must attend both days to be certified to hunt in Kansas. Class size is limited to the first 75 people. You can preregister by October 23, by contacting the K-State Research & Extension Seward County Extension Office by calling 620-624-5604. There will be a second course offered in December.
