Hit and Run Accident Claim Lives In Liberal

The Kansas Highway Patrol and The Liberal Police Department are investigating a fatal accident in Seward County. It happened around 11:25 p.m. Saturday near Palo Verde Drive and East 2nd Street. Reports state a vehicle was eastbound on 2nd Street and struck two pedestrians in the roadway. Both were killed. Their identities have not been released.
