A Guymon man was arrested on Monday after a suspicious vehicle report to the Guymon Police Department, according to a report filed with the GPD. Officers were dispatched to a residence on Sunset Lane to look into a suspicious vehicle report. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Richard Holoka, did not live at the residence. Officers noticed Holoka appeared to be under the influence. An officer obtained consent to search the vehicle. Another small baggie of methamphetamine, a glass jar with a small portion of a burnt marijuana cigarette and a silver measuring spoon with a burnt substance on the bottom were found, as well as a Ruger semi-automatic LC9 9mm pistol. Holoka is a convicted felon. Online records indicate Holoka has been convicted of the use of bogus checks and a con game and fraudulent use of a credit card number. A restitution hearing is set for the case on Oct. 26, with judgment and sentencing set for Feb. 22. Holoka is also listed as having unresolved traffic violations. Holoka was stopped within 2,000 feet of Thompson Park, according the the police report. Holoka was placed under arrest and transported to the Texas County Detention Center.
