Great Bend Blows Away Liberal

With winds gusting as high as 48 miles per hour in Liberal Tuesday, Great Bend’s softball team blew away Liberal 17-0 and 13-1. In game one, Liberal was hitless in a four inning game. In game two, an eight run fourth made a 5-1 a 13-1 game. Liberal struck out 11 times in the five inning game. Liberal is 2-6 and 0-2 in the WAC while Great Bend improves to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the WAC. Liberal goes to Hays Thursday. Liberal played without senior Emily Jackson who was sick.
