Former Senator Kassebaum Baker To Attend Emporia Event

Former Kansas Sen. Nancy Kassebaum Baker is scheduled to attend a benefit for the William Allen White State Historic Site next week.

Kassebaum Baker is scheduled to give a talk titled, “The Challenge of Change: How We Meet Community Needs.” The benefit is scheduled for Oct. 1 in Emporia.

The William Allen White State Historic Site relies heavily on donations and fundraisers to keep the site open and operating.

Kassebaum Baker represented Kansas in the U.S. Senate from 1979 to 1997.
