Experienced Maize Shuts Down Redskins

Maize defeated Liberal 3-0 Saturday at the Wichita South Titan Classic championship game. A more experienced 6A team who started seven seniors scored all three goals on dead ball fouls. The Eagles held the Redskins to just two shots-on-goal while Maize kicked nine shots on goal. The 3-1 Skins play their second conference game at Dodge City Tuesday.
