ESPN Will Shine Lights on Liberal

ESPN reporter Joe Disney will be in Liberal next week (June 4th and 5th) to feature Mike Hargrove and the Liberal Bee Jays. The former Major League manager and Perryton native will arrive in Liberal Thursday and will be a guest on the Sportsguys Friday morning on Talkradio 1270 and kscb.net. The first practice will be on Monday as players will be arriving to Liberal late this week into next week. ESPN will interview Mike and Sharon Hargrove, BJ General Manager Bob Carlile, and several BJ players who return back this year after playing on last year’s team. The feature will air during a Sunday morning “Where are they Now?” segment. Last year the Bee Jays drew coverage from the Sporting News, Rocky Mountain News, Associated Press, and KSNW.
