Dodge City Man Sentenced

A Dodge City man has been sentenced to

nearly 14 years in prison for killing his infant son nearly two

years ago.

The Dodge City Globe reports that Francisco Pablo-Bicente was

sentenced Monday to 13 years and nine months in prison for

second-degree murder. Time already served will reduce his sentence

by more than a year.

Francisco Pablo-Bicente in February pleaded no contest in the

July 2008 death of Juan Pablo-Tino. An autopsy showed the boy had

suffered blunt-force injuries, including broken bones.

After prison, he will be three years probation.
