Community Meeting set for Hooker OK Residents

Texas County Health Department TSET Healthy Living Program and the University of Oklahoma Institute for Quality Communities (IQC) are working on a project to help improve the quality of life in Hooker. The team, in coordination with the City of Hooker staff, will sponsor a public meeting to attain public involvement and input on potential mobility and wellness initiative recommendations. If you would like to join the public discussion, there will be an evening meeting where you are welcome to attend.

The meeting will take place at the American Legion Building, 234 Swem Street, Hooker, OK on Monday November 4th, at 5:30 pm, light refreshments will be provided.

On Wednesday, November 5th at the American Legion Building at noon there will be a community wrap up and IQC presentation.

At the end of the project, the information gathered and recommendations on potential opportunities to improve the city will be presented to the City of Hooker for future consideration. These recommendations will be provided at no cost to the City of Hooker. Come join to see ways to improve the community you live in.
