In a press release from City Manager Mark Halls office, the City of Liberal has named Jeff Parsons as the City’s new Economic Development Director. Mr. Parsons has served as Interim Director since March of 2009, managing and providing strategic leadership during troubled economic times that face our city and nation. Mr. Parsons will assume his new position on October 1, 2009.

According to City Manager Mark Hall, “Mr. Parsons is a fantastic fit for the City Of Liberal. He brings with him the past months of working with the State of Kansas on various economic projects, innovative ideas, and because of his past work for the City, tremendous knowledge of Liberal and Seward County.
