City Commission Candidate Forum Airs Friday Night

With 14 city commission candidates, voters have some decisions to make at the primary election. Voters will get a chance to hear the candidates Friday night at a candidate forum from 6-8 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net. The Liberal Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend the forum at the Rock Island Depot. Questions may be submitted prior to and during the forum at [email protected] or call 624-3855. Written questions will also be taken from the live audience during the forum. The candidates include Dean Aragon, Dario Beltran, John Blackmore, Jack Carlile, Joe Denoyer, Lana Gudgel, Dave Harrison, Dale Harrold, Julio Jimenez, Candace Koehn, Tim Long, Ivanhoe Love, Clay Smith, and Ronnie Warren.

Following the primary election, there will be a March 18 USD 480 School Board Debate at 6 p.m. at the Depot and a City Commission Debate March 19 at 6 p.m. at the Depot.
