Carter Kruger Receives Horizon Award

Mr. Carter Kruger, was honored Friday at a special luncheon as a recipient of the 2017 Kansas Horizon Award. In only his second year, Kruger teaches College Algebra/Trigonometry, AP Calculus, and Algebra II math classes at LHS and is the Lady Redskins head basketball coach.
The prestigious Horizon Award is given to outstanding Kansas first year teachers who have demonstrated exemplary teaching skills in the classroom. Mr. Kruger was nominated by his LHS administrators and supported by his fellow teachers.
