Mary Lewis is a retired Speech Therapist. Mary worked for USD 480 for 33 years. She has lived in Liberal most of her life.
In October, Mary was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Currently she is receiving treatment thru June 2013.
The VFW Post 3166 in Liberal is having a Benefit Supper and Silent Auction. The Benefit will be held at the VFW-1851 West 2nd Street Road.

Menu will be:
Bar-b-que meats, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls, desert, tea and coffee.
We are also going to have Spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. (Mary's favorite). Lots of other sides.
$10.00 a person
Any and all donations are welcome. There will be a 50/50 pot - tickets will be sold for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00, whom ever wins will get ½ the pot and Mary will get the other ½.
