BJ’s Open with Tulsa Saturday

KSCB News - July 29, 2011 7:19 am

The Liberal Bee Jays begin defense of their 2010 NBC World Series Championship against the Tulsa Titans Saturday night at 7:30 on Talkradio 1270. It’s time to turn attention to the 32-team NBC World Series after the BJ’s were rained out at Dodge City Thursday night. The game made it to the second inning with Dodge City leading 2-0 before the rain and lightning forced cancellation of the game. Liberal finishes 30-16 in the regular season and 18-15 in the Jayhawk League for third place. Tulsa won the Sooner Collegiate Conference.

The BJ’s have bolstered their roster for the NBC adding El Dorado shortstop Miles Silverstein and Seward first baseman J.T. Bean who played for the Colorado Sox this summer.
