Baker Arts Center Celebrates 30th Anniversary of French Market

Many residents will get a jump on Christmas shopping with a French flare this weekend. The Baker Arts Center hosts the 30th Anniversary Celebration of French Market Saturday from 10-4 and Sunday from noon to 4:00 . The French Market at the Baker Art Center has a huge following, and is deeply rooted in tradition, with this being the 30th Anniversary. Many shoppers eagerly anticipate this fundraising event at the Baker.

On Saturday, a buffet style meal featuring Caramelized pork loin with apples, wild rice, glazed carrots, brussel sprouts, salad, rolls with cinnamon butter and desserts will be served. Cost is $15 and no reservations are required.

On Sunday, Fried chicken. mashed potatoes, with gravy, green beans, rolls and desserts will be on the buffet for just $10.

There will be many shops, displays, and baked goods available with a silent auction that will begin on Saturday and end Sunday. It is free to enter and shop.  Call the Baker Arts Center at 624-2810 for more information.
