Liberal senior guard B.J. Washington is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. The starting guard has been one of the key players in Liberal winning seven of their last eight games. Washington scored 10 points in last week’s 60-47 win over Newton.
The 10-12 Redskins play 19-3 Lansing Wednesday at 3 p.m. on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net. The winner plays Friday at 4:45.
