Arenivas First K.I.S.S. Honoree

KSCB News - June 30, 2011 8:41 am

Congratulations to Magda Arenivas, who was the very first Southwest Medical Center K.I.S.S. (Keeping Individuals Safe & Satisfied) Award recipient! Magda was selected as the June honoree by members of the SWMC Social and Recreation committee who reviewed the submissions to determine a winner. Magda works in the admissions department at the hospital and was selected for going above and beyond her normal duties.

“Magda and the other nominees are to be commended for the job they do each day for the patients, staff and visitors of Southwest Medical Center,” said Southwest Medical Center Public Relations Director and Soc & Rec Member Nancy Kletecka. “Magda definitely set the bar high by going way out of the scope of her responsibilities here at SWMC to not only assist a fellow employee, but also a patient. Thank you Magda for exemplifying the K.I.S.S. philosophy so well! You are an asset to our team!”

Magda is here receiving her award certificate from SWMC President/CEO Norm Lambert as her Director Sandra Montes and Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Bill Ermann look on. Magda also received a K.I.S.S. lapel pin and a crisp $100 bill for her efforts.

Visitors, patients and staff may nominate an employee for this honor. Applications can be found on the Internet or in the Public Relations Office of the hospital. The program was developed to further encourage above and beyond care at SWMC for all who enter its doors. For more information on the program, contact Public Relations/Marketing Director Nancy Kletecka at 620-629-6335.
