Are You Ready For Goofy Golf and a Free Meal

Are you ready for some Goofy Golf and a free meal? The Southern Office Supply Eighth Annual Goofy Golf Tournament for the Seward County United Way will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, at Grif Golf at Bluebonnet Park. Thanks to National Beef, participants will also be treated to a free hamburger with chips and a drink.

The cost of the tournament is $2 for a two-youth team, $3 for a youth/adult team and $4 for a two-adult team. Youth players are 15 years old or younger. “Teams to don’t have to register ahead of time, they just have to show up the day of the tournament,” Burtzloff said. First, second and third place trophies will be giving in the three categories.

On certain holes, the golfers will have special challenges. On one hole, they have to golf standing on one leg. At another hole, they will be using swimming noodles for their golf clubs. There will be five special Challenge holes in the tournament. One hole will be designated as the "hole-in-one" prize hole.
