David Geary, age 58, of Johnson, Kansas died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born October 26, 1953 in Borger, Texas the son of Russell Perry and Frances Elizabeth (Nutter) Geary.
Dave grew up south of Big Bow, Kansas and was a 1972 graduate of Rolla High School. He was a lifelong farmer and worked in the oil fields. He has lived in Richfield, Hays, Wichita, Derby, and nine years in Douglas, Wyoming; moving back to Johnson recently. Dave enjoyed working on motors, music, old fast cars, and motor cycles.
Survivors include daughter, Kelli Schneider of Long Island, Kansas; brothers, Tim Geary of Johnson, Kansas, James Geary of Douglas, Wyoming; and three grandchildren.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Katherine Rowbotham.
