Geneva Fast
Ulysses, KS
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 17, 2011 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses, Kansas.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Ulysses Mennonite Brethren Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Pastor Jon Ail officiating.
Interment: Golden Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ulysses Mennonite Brethren Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.

Geneva Pauline (Siebert) Fast, age 80, of Ulysses, Kansas died Friday, January 14, 2011 at The Legacy at Park View in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born January 30, 1930 in rural Grant County, Kansas, the daughter of John W. and Lydia K. (Neufeld) Siebert.

Geneva married Roy D. Fast on September 10, 1950 at the First Baptist Church in Ulysses, Kansas. They lived near Inman, Kansas until they moved back to Ulysses in 1960. She was a farmer, seamstress, homemaker, business woman, and truck driver. Geneva was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and a member of the Ulysses Mennonite Brethren Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Caroline Harden and husband Russ of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Jeannette Leigh and husband George, Regina Chase and husband Jay, all of Ulysses, Kansas; two sisters, Mary Klaassen of Wichita, Kansas, Irene Isaac and husband Don of Meade, Kansas; two brothers, Lester Siebert and wife Martha of Cobden, Illinois, Waldo Siebert and wife Mary of Overland Park, Kansas; four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; ten grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy on March 20, 1991; her sister Ruby in 2010; her sister-in-law Susan; her brother-in-law Eldon; a daughter Genevive; and son Anthony.
