Cindy L. Harrold
Garnand Funeral Home
Ulysses, KS

Cindy L. Harrold, age 59, of Ulysses, Kansas died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas.  She was born March 7, 1952 in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Lois (Keely) Holt.

 

Cindy graduated from Harper High School and then attended Manhattan Christian College.  Cindy moved to Ulysses, Kansas in 1988 with her husband, Pastor Bill Harrold and their family when Bill began serving as the minister of Shelton Memorial Christian Church.  Aside from being a Pastor’s wife and homemaker, she also worked for many years as a Secretary at Sullivan Grade School.  Cindy was a member of Shelton Memorial Christian Church.  She was involved in the Christian Women’s Ministry Group, and was active with the Awesome Kids Choir.  Cindy enjoyed helping others, crafts and painting, cooking and baking, and loved spending time with her grandkids.

 

Cindy married William “Bill” Harrold on June 10, 1973 at Harper, Kansas, he survives.    

 

Other survivors include; one daughter, Jasey Faulkner and husband Chris of Ulysses, Kansas, two sons; Matt Harrold and wife Brett of Ulysses, Kansas and Drew Harrold of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two grandchildren; Addie Harrold and Blake Harrold of Ulysses, Kansas, her mother; Lois Holt of Harper, Kansas, two brothers; Donald Holt and Ronald Holt, both of Harper, Kansas.

 

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Donald Holt .

 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Ulysses, Kansas with Reverend Ken Marston and Pastor Kelly Gindlesberger officiating.  Cremation will follow after the service.  Friends may call on Monday, July 4, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.  Memorial contributions may be given to Shelton Memorial Christian Church or Team in Training Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS  67880.
