Eunice T. Martin

Elkhart, KS
Eunice T. Martin, age 93, of Elkhart, Kansas passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas. Eunice was born November 20, 1917 in Yuma, Arizona the daughter of William H. and Mary (Rowley) Knox. She married Harold D. Martin on April 22, 1933. He died in 1967 in San Diego, California. She moved to Elkhart, Kansas in 1977. Eunice amazed us by her ability to survive her many life’s challenges. She loved us all and will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind one son, Robert Martin of Elkhart, Kansas; one daughter, Patricia Ann Roemmich of Kent, Washington; granddaughters, Teresa Martin of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cindy Arrigo of Bayonne, New Jersey, and Wincy Martin/McCaffery of Centennial, Colorado; grandsons, Robert Roemmich of Bangor, Maine, and John J. Roemmich of Port Orchard, Washington; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Cindy Arrigo and Wincy Martin/McCaffery graduated from Elkhart High School.
Graveside service will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, Kansas with Pastor Bruce Ferguson officiating. Friends may call Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Morton County Care Center in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 854, Elkhart, Kansas 67950.
