Garry Wayne Gee, 67 of Mustang, Oklahoma died at his home on Wednesday March 2, 2011. Garry was born July 23, 1943, to William Leonard and Betty Deyoe Gee in Grant County, Kansas.

Garry lived most of his life in Ulysses, Kansas and the surrounding area. He was a 1961 graduate of Grant County Rural High School. He attended Dodge City Community College. Garry served in the United States Army and was a member of Dexter D. Harbour American Legion Post #79. He worked for Pioneer Electric as an electrical lineman for over 20 years. Later, he worked for Kansas Irrigation and USD 214. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was proudly celebrating his ninth year of sobriety. Garry's love of horses and rodeo endured a lifetime. He will be remembered for his generosity to others and his inability to say "No" even if he didn't have it to give. After moving to Oklahoma in recent years, Garry's love turned to being a part of family functions especially his granddaughter’s events, from soccer, basketball, school events, or even shopping, he never wanted to miss out.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Floyd of Ulysses, Kansas; son, Todd Gee and wife Aileen of Moore, Oklahoma and their children, Paul, Rebecca, Roy and Chastity; son, Ty Gee and wife Crissy of Mustang, Oklahoma and their children, Mady and Tory; a brother, Larry Gee and wife Gretchen of Ulysses, Kansas; his dear friend, Marie Lazear of Mustang, Oklahoma; and a host of relatives and friends.
