Amanda Collins is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Amanda Collins has a big night. The senior forward will play for the Liberal Lady Redskins when they host Hays at 6 p.m. for homecoming. Then Collins has about 45 minutes to transform from a basketball player to a homecoming queen candidate. That is on her agenda Friday night.
Collins not only is a queen candidate but also the Senior Class President, a member of LHS Student Council, Key Club, National Honor Society, and is active in her church youth group at First Southern Baptist Church.
Collins and the 3-13 Lady Redskins host 10-4 #8 Hays Friday night at 6 p.m. on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
