Agard is KJCCC Player of the Week

KSCB News - February 11, 2010 12:00 am

Seward County sophomore Latiq Agard has been named the Jayhawk

Conference Player of the Week after his performance in a 2-1 week for

the Saints. Agard continued to be the model of consistency for the

Saints averaging 18 points per game, just above his season average. His

best game of the week came against Colby when he scored 24 points on 8

of 15 shooting to help Seward to a last second win over the Trojans. He

shot 54% on the week in the three games and found his way to the free

throw line 25 times by his hard work inside. Agard and his Saints will

now travel to Cloud County to play one of the conferences hottest teams

on the road Saturday night.
