Adventure Bay Opens as Heat Wave Grips High Plains

Record high temperatures reached the listening area Thursday. Guymon, Beaver, Hooker, Perryton, and Slapout reached 110 degrees. Goodwell reached 107 degrees while Liberal reached 106 degrees. It was 90 degrees in Liberal at 11:35 PM. The opening of the Adventure Bay Waterpark in Liberal game at a good time. Attendance figures show that 910 people Thursday and 1,090 people Wednesday utilized the new park which opened Sunday.
